Ganit Richter is a Lecturer at The Department of Information and Knowledge Management and a moderator in Executive Business Simulation workshops and courses. She is member of The Center for Internet Research and a member of LINKS, the Center of Excellence on Learning in the Networked Society.
Ganit’s main research interests include serious games and simulations, gamification, computer human interaction, social networks. Specifically her research interest lies in the field of serious games for crowds (in collaboration with IBM's Social Computing group), gamification, motivations for information sharing and the role of rewards and incentives. In her research she combines her background in pure mathematics with fields such as psychology and behavior.
Ganit teaches in The Department of Business Administration and in The Department of Information and Knowledge Management, University of Haifa.
