In January 2019, The International MBA Program at Haifa University hosted a Round Table on one of the hottest current Israeli international business issues : How can Israel avoid becoming a collateral damage of the US-China economic war?

The debate, moderated by Prof Chalom Schirman, Head of the Haifa IMBA, was introduced by Professor Benny Miller from the Department of International relations, by Doron Ella of the China Team at INSS, by Zvi Shalgo, president of PTL Group, one of the first Israeli firms that operates in China and by Dan Catarivas, Head of the international Department at the manufacturers association of Israel.

The participants in the ensuing discussion included Israeli business people working in China, Israeli and Chinese graduate students from Technion and The University of Haifa, leaders of Think Tanks and Sino-Israeli associations.

Haifa IMBA is the only MBA Program in Israel that focuses on China and India.

Its graduates are empowered to operate successfully in the global world, and specifically in these two largest markets of the world.

Welcome

A  Part-time MBA Program for Managers who need to cope with global and disruptive issues.
An International MBA that focuses on the largest and fastest-growing markets in the world.

Matan Vilnay, Israel's ambassador to China, recently wrote: "To support actual, responsible continued growth of productive business relationships that have long term potential, the Israeli market needs more experts on modern China in a range of topics, such as the economy and business administration." (INSS Insight, No. 906, March 19, 2017)

The I-MBA of the University of Haifa empowers Israeli managers and business people to achieve this very goal.

For the past 10 years it has provided its graduates with an MBA degree that focuses on China and the Far East. Thus, several courses are specifically dedicated to in-depth study of the Business Culture in China, India, Korea and Japan.
